i guess pennsylvania is the spot for the glass scene this summer. glass art society conference is at the end of june in pittsburgh

http://www.glassart.org/Pittsburgh_2007.html

and, of couse, the art glass invitational (no link necessary).

i've never been to either of these but have heard great stories from both. i can probably only afford the time and money to attend one so i thought that i would ask you kind folks if you might have any input. which one would be of more interest to the boro worker?

thanks, m

GAS is a huge conference - obviously not just flameworking like AGI is, but certainly TONS to learn and see. I've been wanting to go for years, and it's finally on the same side of the country as I am!

When is AGI this year and are tickets still available, or do I have to be invited or what?

I know I could click a few pages back and get the info. I am lazy

Yeah, I've been wanting to meet him for a while. I think he's doing a demo, so it'll be easy to find him. Hoping to meet some other folks that I've been wanting to talk to for a while, too. We'll see...

But thanks for the tip, Mermonkey!
