So I was wondering. Has anyone ever hired a professional photographer?
What types of things do you recommend they do to get the "perfect picture" for both digital pics and slides. I doubt I'll find one that specializes in art glass. What, if anything, could I tell this photographer to get the slides that will get me into Art/Craft shows?
What kind of backgrounds?
What kind of lights?
Any special tricks to photographing marbles, faceted paperweights, sculptures, goblets, etc...
I really like light emanating from behind my glass. I also like the gradual fade from dark to light in the background. That can be added at the computer, right?
I know I should get a photo set up, but have neither time nor resources for that right now.
And I would hate to shell out a bunch of loot only to find out later what he/she SHOULD HAVE DONE. Any thoughts?
