I mean... before Brown got the new Skutt we tried some boro fusing in an Aim so we pumped it to like 18hunj. Took forever though...

AIM rates it as 1800F max.

AIM says 1800 on the 99 but they do make some small fusing kilns that will go to 2200. I've never fired my 99 that high but I did fire my old AIM fusing kiln to 2000 once. I wouldn't fire a 99 higher than 1500 myself but I like playing it safe.

There should be a sticker with all that information right on the kiln. Mine says 2300.

before i got a digi controller i used to fuse all the time in my old AIM
I was not trying to fuse but it sure did the trick, nice flat spoon! still have it.

I probably made a couple of kilns full of flat spoons
