It wasnt very large
There was just enough room to cram a bench
In the corner over by the dodge
It was a eighty four
With a mashed up door
And a cheesy little kiln
With a sign on the front said eveheat
And a second hand cc
It was a premix with a marver on top
We could blow in joe’s garage
His mama was screamin
His dad was mad
We was blowing the same old thing
In the afternoon n sometimes we would
blow all night long
It was all we knew, n easy too
So we wouldnt get it wrong
All we did was spin the glass like all day long
Hey!
Down in joes garage
We didnt have no dope or lsd
But a coupla quartsa beer
Would fix it so the cc
Would not offend yer ear
And the same wig wags over and over
Became a symphony
We would blow em again n again
caue it looked good to me
One more time!
We could blow in joes garage
His mama was screamin,
"turn that cc down
We was blowing the same old thing
In the afternoon n sometimes we would
blow all night long
It was all we knew, and easy too
So we wouldnt get it wrong
Even if you worked it major minor
We thought we was pretty good
We talked about keepin the studio together
n we figured that we should
cause about this time we was gettin the eye
From the girls in the neighborhood
Theyd all come over n dance around
So we picked out a stupid name
Had some cards printed up for a coupla bucks
and we was on our way to fame
People seemed to like our glass
They came by and bought it
An it wasnt fore very long
A distributor from a company we can’t name
Said we oughta take his pen
n sign on the line for a real good time
But he didnt tell us when
These "good times" would be somethin
That was really happenin
So the studio broke up
An it looks like
We will never blow again
Guess you only get one chance in life
To make a piece that goes wig wig wig
reversal
(speculating on the future)
Well the years was rollin by, yeah
imported crap
Had caught the public eye, yeah
Snotty importers with lipstick on
Was really flyin high, yeah
n then they got that inside out thing
n new glass came along
n all of a sudden I thought the time
Had come for that same old stuff
We used to make in joe’s garage
There was just enough room to cram a bench
