Advanced Level
In this class, students will explore the possibilities of working with thicker glass. This is a “hands on” class and students will be experimenting with numerous advanced kiln working techniques to incorporate into their bowls. Students will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of techniques and apply these to their own style. Students will also have the opportunity to do coldworking/finishing of glass using various grinding and polishing machines/equipment. Emphasis will be on applying new techniques to explore new individual design possibilities.
