theres a fair in topsfield mass, think its mid september, two weeks.
folks asked if i'd do a demonstration, after hearing about demo at marshfield fair last year.
i said if they'd wave the vending fee ( so all i have to pay for is insurance, electricity, and because they require a professional tent service, a tent ($650 for two weeks)) i'd do it.
thing is, its far from home, at a busy time.
what im thinking is if i get a few other people who would like to join me, doing demos for two weeks, it would be a lot more fun to pull off.
if you're interested in doing a day , or two , or three, let me know.
there are grounds available there to sleep on, as well as hotels locally.
two other folks have expressed interest. i think 5 or more people ( pyros) could run it tight.
takers?

i shoulda mentioned.....

ive got the portable demo....
jen ken, carlisle, nuff tools, bench, tables,n ray.
because they require one of their tent pros, 650$, plus $200 to be in on their million dollar insurance, or we provide our own (million dollar liability) and then like $200 for electricty.
im setting up the gig and funding it.
what im asking for is folks with enough skills that they're not burning themselves or anyone else (...well really....maybe a bit more... but i mean, you know, you could have an emphasemic granny with athritis lampworking and it will look like a good demo) to come join in.
i could see two ways.
pitch in on the costs, and share space on the table to vend and torch.
or just come hang out, and take turns on the torch.
it might be ten days, i think its two weeks.
but its from 11 am until 10 pm... more full time than i care to fill.
theres actually three other cats, who said they come in and help. i think it would be a lot more impresive if we had a crew.
last year at marshfield , it was difficult for me to take breaks because there was laways a crowd watching..and it was just my boops and i...
so im saying... you wanna just come and blow some glass...
or would you (anyone that is) like to pitch in, do demos, and ply retails.
i got the logistics (equipment, set up, comforts) covered
