so once a year acl comes to austin... it'z a big deal, tons of people come for this event once a year. i would like to work this event, but can't do it by myself. go check out the info google, austin city limits. tell me what u think if your down i'll start doin the paper work...

damn roze, i've gotta hand it to you, you jump in the deep end & start swimming......ya know, it looks like a cool event ,but i have questions how it would all work with multiple people working it as i have only worked a booth by myself at small festivals before.....how would you work it as far as splitting out merchandise income & credit card fees and booth fees & all that? when people buy one thing form one artist and one from another, and put it on the same credit card for example...and keeping track of multiple inventories? how do you do that? to make sure that the right monies go to the right artist?

i dont know how she would do it, but I would write everything down, who sold what, for how much, and split it up after. As for the booth rental and site costs, well you have to split those evenly.

Roze has this stuff down, and working an event with her is all good. We did Marley Fest, and i had a great time and learned a lot by watching Roze. So if you feel the need, go for it- PEACE!!!

alrighty hear'z the deal folkz... it's a g {1,000.00} to get a 10x15. i think this is a deal. i don't want to have more than four blowerz at the booth. 1. every blower has to blow glass 2. every blower has to watch glass 3. every blower has to not be a ducebag....so if your intrested i need three folkz to go in on this with me, the registration has to be filled out by end of june. i think i would be fun to get three new peepz this time, nothing personal i just want to give otherz a chance to visit austin and have this kind of experiance....also, anyone that wantz to stay at my crib can so u don't have to add the cost of hotel....o' and no credit card machine just straight up old skewl cash in hand my friend...

If anyone else needs some help finding a place to chill for the weekend we would be happy to help out.. our booth is gonna be full but we would be glad to help with whatever you need.. the part she might not have mentioned is that this event is FRIGGIN HUGE.. more ppl than a "normal festival" 3 days.. big kick ass bands.. I think last year was over 75k ppl.. a grand for the booth and potential sales crossing the 25k mark... I dont know if I would wait til the end of june tho roze.. its not the same as bob marley in terms of securing a booth.. I would doubt they are still available at the end of june.. or even the end of may for that matter so jump on that chit if your gonna do it.. If for some reason you dont get one roze.. hit us up.. Im sure glassroots would be happy to have ya for the weekend.. There will be more sales than we can handle anyway even wiht the couple months prepping for it.. I think we are shooting for the oversize 25x20 booth with multiple torches.. Watch out for the thieves in the crowd tho.. they were fast at Bob Marley... they will certainly be faster at this event..
