it just kinda blew my mind and thought it would be fun to hear
everyone chime off on it...

the hours this piece took, must be over 100 as far as i can see...

I doubt it actually took that long. But its defenitely a sick tube. I love the fact that its so overdone that you dont know what too look at.

db- i kept loosing count on marbs but, it has to be somewhere around 40 on just one side (the side i was trying to count), and add the disk flips and reversals and on and on... i don't know how fast you get your glass to working temp and keep the colors from turning to poop but, sure seems like things are really bright and worked real easy on this piece to me...

seele- i think if i own it, it would be display only... and if i made it, you could do with it as you wished because, you would have really deep pockets and i would love to sell you another elaborate, expensive piece...
all the glass blowers i know, don't mind you using a sharp metal pick to clean the piece you got from them and we also don't mind if the buyer has Tile Floors....lol...:dieslaugh :o:

I would have no idea how long it took, because I would NEVER do a piece a fraction as busy as that one. Im just suprised that people still want random looking work like this, every color, no order, ??:puzzled: :puzzled: Ive seen a bunch of his pieces, and to me they all look like trash. Nothing personl about the dood, i don't even know him, I know he has skills, but the way he uses them, makes my eyes sick.

AK taught me how to blow glass over ten years ago. back when he was known as 'arik with an a' he definitely knows how to put a bunch of chaos on a piece. i would say that piece from start to finish might have taken him 3 days from scratch, but thats not how he works. he usually has tons of cane and stuff ready to go, so he probably did that piece in 4 hours, not including prep. it would be impossible to count his prep time into it. iwould say his prep time on that tube was 15 years. oh yeah and i side note, dont ever trust AK.

it is way to buzzzzzzzyyy for even an eccentric old fart like me but, it just made me say wow at the time involved for just one piece...

my thought was,
now i know what to do with all of the previous year's leftover pendents,
if this is what people like to see...

side bar,
don't know about AK or, any of that drama but, it's good to have a heads up...

what was it that RAM said, and I'm sure other people, but it went something like this, "Don't use art to showcase you techniques, let the techniques show your art." Anyways it's a-one-of-a-kind piece, kinda schizo and fun.

that has got to be the messiest looking tube I have ever seen, way to many marbs and no flow to them either, just my opinion. The sections don't look very clean and are all kinda clumped in there behind the marbles. Yeah it might have taken a long time but I take a long time taking a shit.

yeah way to bizzy but still kind of trippy, Its not that hard of a piece to throw together, its just a really big tube with a bunch of stuff stuck to it, all you have to do is save all your random parts and what not and eventually you will have enough pieces to make something like that, assemblage is nothing, its just the accumulation of all the pieces that takes time.

i think it's so buzzy that i have missed the work in the tube itself...

the pic of the bottom tells of the work in just the tube, with out the marbs...

still it gives me ideas on what to use the leftover pendents for...lol...

if i can't get people to wear them then, perhaps

i can get people to smoke through a piece waring them...
