It was defiantly stupid, taste? no, it was quite tacky though. I remember recently, some asshole posted a video on youtube of him getting his 5 year old nephew high on a blunt. He was babysitting, but not onlly did they lock his ass up, they took the kids away from the parents, arrested them for criminal negligence and placed the kids in a foster system. Now the parents "allegedly" didn't know the uncle was doing this (or selling crack out of there house while he babysat). Anyway, sometimes it takes the weight o the world kicking some people in the nuts for them to take notice.

I agree, I believe there should be some test and standards. But what do you do for people that say fuck it, and have kids without a license?

I took one prior to my divorce (court mandated in Minnesota)...and the class was good IF you listen and pay attention. Those of us (myself included) who want to be good parents actually learned some things in there.
But I saw plenty of others who were doodling, sending messages on their phones and just plain not paying attention. It was court ordered, but the court can't order you to listen and learn (unfortunately).

You're right, we need less. But some laws are good, and something like this would be good. get rid of stupid shit like jay walking fines, and drug laws.

Oh by the way, the parenting class I took was not court mandated lol. It was sponsored by a local non profit and held in the evening at an elementary school. The only parents there were their on their own free will lol.
The thing you need the most of with a child is love and patience and seeing the topic of this thread....COMMON SENSE.

another one?!?! goddamn! lemme guess, it was someone from cali who figured it was cool cuz they live in cali and theyre untouchable. well f*** the 215, law i have been witness to a few people losing their kids in cali over shit like this (not pictures, but relative to the topic). which is why i left cali when i found out i was pregnant. i feel for the children of parents like that. what kind of life are you gonna have when your parents are so stupid that they put your future on the line to display a friggin pipe?
