Bird's nest

Made for client Wu Yu-wen for her parents 50th wedding anniversary. Because of time restraints we couldn't photograph the real eggs but they really finished the piece off. 17 eggs were gold leafed and then the chinese character of each grandchild's name was sandblasted onto the surface. 12 x 12"

was it blown curved or did you make a flat nest and then slump it ?

Meerkat, branch pieces were individually sculpted and then pieced together in a plate form. Then the walls were then made with the branch pieces. Does that make sense?
