This class will focus on different techniques and approaches to solid and blown sculpting. Students will begin with a conceptual drawing and personal instruction will focus on technique, torch work at the bench, bit work, and various color applications. Demonstrations will center on techniques of Czech-style freehand manipulation and will feature a range of techniques and ideas including large-scale figurative and sculptural work. Two years of glass blowing experience are required.
