Joshua Mazet will be teaching at Canyon Studios, in Copper Canyon,Texas approx 20 Miles North of Dallas on July 29th and 30th. This class on making marbles will be using Boro-silicate glass. This is Josh's 5th marble class taught this year, including teaching classes the Eugene Public Glass School and Carlise's School for Art Glass. His students have been making great work, you can be next.
This class is aimed at beginning students, but intermediate students are encouraged to take part. Students can expect to leave with several different completed marbles.
With over 10 years of art and craft teaching experience, including 3 years instructing at the University of Oregon, Josh has a proven teaching style that is reflected in the success of his students work, and their enjoyment of his classes.
Students with little experience are recommended to take his class on boro sculpture before the Marble class but not required, so that they gain familiarity with the torch and glass. Any questions, email me, or check out Canyon Studio's website to register!
