you gotta be some sort of genious to get someone to pay a million dollers for a black square. I'm not saying it's not art, but it's not any diffrent than masturbating on a cavnass and putting a price tag on it.

Art ain't what you think. My fucking dog that I rented can piss on a canvas and recreate a piece of shit like that, and I accomidate an unusual tolerance for art. Maybe I missed something.
What was the impression?
Estectic value?
Fuck me. Am I in a worm hole mode, sorry.
Please explain.

I know an "art" dealer in Pittsburgh, and he shot straight from the hip and told me "art is nothing more than an illusion".
He admitted that some of the (in his own words)"crap" he sells is considered art because some prominent people own works from a particular "artist", and other collectors feel that they need works from the same "artist" to complete (or add to) their personal collection.
I always use the term "art" and "artist" in quotes for a reason- it's all subjective, and what some perceive as true "art" is nothing but garbage to someone else.
Do what you want to do, have fun with it, and who cares if it's considered "art", craft, or anything else.... Enjoy and explore your creativity / ability regardless of what others may consider it to be (or not to be).
