Just a quick thank you to everyone who helped Barry & me out after the Saturday get together... and to everyone for a great time of sharing, learning and caring with a terrific group of people. Fractured the right wrist and getting it casted tomorrow. Pain meds kicking in and typing with left hand so that's all for now. Will share photos sometime after 9/6 when I get back from Oregon.

Cindy was going to come back Sunday morning with Barry, and say goodbye to everyone. She just came back a little to early, like 3:45am knocking on my window. She woke me up to tell me what happened, Barry just missed a turn at the end of the road and hit a tree, guess his car is totalled. Hes ok. Glad he drank water most all night of the party, so no DUI, but still his cars fucked. Cindy showed me her hands and they were pretty swollen, even through my sleepy eyes.

Thats all Cindy told me. Get well quick, I'll miss you 2. And thanks Barry for the perfume bottle, I've always wanted a Barry piece, this year he got the hint ha hah.

Nice to meet you to Joe and donna, I didn't up-load all my pics, so I'm sure I have one of you too. I'll go through them again today, and add a few more.

I'm fine but the guilt is killing me. Cindy is going to ride this guilt train as long as she can I'm sure.

What a week, every year it gets better. Thanks to the Tom and Elaine AGI sets a standard that will be hard to equal by any lampworking school. The free flow of information was just tremendous.

We all heard about the "accident" at the truck stop restaurant. I'm glad to hear that everyone is alright. Cindy, hope your healing is quick. Keep your wrist iced and elevated. I broke my hand once, and that seemed to help. Bear..... remember that bones and tendons heal, but a woman NEVER FORGETS!! LOL.. I really enjoyed all, especially the crowd in the new "Boro Building" and the "leg holding" contest. If anyone has anything (photos or written praise, etc.) that they would like me to put in the Glass LIne article, e-mail them to me, please...soon. I promise that the ending "accident" will remain a secret. After all, What happens at AGI, stays at AGI!!! Hugs. Deb :shifty:

glad to hear u got checked out. you taught me one HUGE lesson that night:
its pretty hard to drink alcohol and smoke a cigarette with no assistance while both wrists are being iced. im looking into investing in a poket monkey to have around incase i am ever in that type of situation.
