There will be three demos tables going during the Best Bead Show in Tucson, Sept 7-8-9.Carlisle Machine will be running torches off of two of their stainless steel torch tables. One table will be set up so that people could try out their torches. The other torch station will be set up for demos during the show. Some exhibitors in the show will be demoing. Some that are demoing are not in the show. If you interested in doing a demonstration, plaese contact carlisle about what you would like to do. This pretty much works if you are already in the area.

I went to the best bead show back in Febuary ,I highly recoomend going if you can make it .I met so many cool glass artists and distributers and had an absolute blast .The inspiration I got from just looking at others work was rediculess. It really made me realize I needed to step up my game .I hope to get in to this show one day .I think it would be a good place to network with other artist in our meduim .I will be going agian in Febuary because I will be attending and partisapating in the flame off at the sanoran glass academy .Lewis I hope to see you there agian you and Bill really worked well together at last years flame off and my wife and I really enjoyed it .

I got a letter from the Sonoran Glass Art Academy a couple months ago (because I was a past participant) and it said that they will no longer be doing the Flame Offs because basically the Fire Marshall would not allow the open flames in a tent and they did not have other facilities that could handle the event. That's what the letter said, anyway, best I can recollect.

Thanks Anakins eye .I do remember how anal the fire marshal was being last year about the whole thing . I don't quite understand why they think it is so dangerouse. They probably didn't like the fact that we where haveing so much fun LOL.
