New sandblaster and first pipes of the year.

Heya, I really don't show off any of my stuff that often(prodo pendants) but i finally got a chance to make a couple of pieces. After the slinger class, i was inspired to start doing pipes.

So here are my second and third pipes i have made this year. Some of you guys do this in a day, but it was such a nice break from implosion flowers :D This was also the first time i had done a resist, and of course i did the ghetto sun exposure. The image on the spoon was supposed to be of Lenin, but i kinda fucked it up.

spoons are the "classic" pipe shape like the top picture.

Thanx y'all. I'm still a novice at hollow form, but it sure is a whole lotta fun. Merlin-I dig the dots too, they glow even more in real life.

The first pipe sucks, thats understandable.

But for a third pipe that sherlock is very cool. The sandblast turned out awesome too.

Just wondering but did you simply lay lines of color on the outside and then blast to achieve that look?
