Hey folks!
I'm so proud to announce the successful delivery of our first son, Marcus Gavin.
He was born 5 weeks early at 5 lbs 8 ozs and 18 1/2 inches long.
He is doing well and is expected to leave Neonatal Intensive Care in a day or two.
Heather is recovering well from the unexpected emergency C-section, she can walk
but it's a slow hobble.
I thank the universe for this amazing gift!
I would also like to thank everyone here for the support and positive vibes that went into this creation.

congrats man.
enjoy him while he's little, and you still get to sleep.
they're so cute when they're tiny....after that, they're still cute, but it's harder to appreciate that while they, say, set fire to the cat ;)

Thanks everyone!
I'm delirious from driving back and forth from the hospital daily to visit them, but its worth 25 miles each way. Yesterday afternoon it took me an hour and a bit to get there!
Little bugger is getting stronger, looking around, starting to eat a little better, cries louder, and only drops a deuce in the diaper when its Mom's turn, so far I've been lucky.
Heather gets discharged tomorrow, Marcus is there til Saturday,at least.

We finally got him home yesterday, and last night was the first night of sleep deprivation. I'm not too tired YET. I got an hour or two.
Heather stayed awake just watching him from the bedside, then conked out around 6am when I got up, changed him and started the feedings.
