1st time blowing glass with my son

Here are some pics of my son, Trey(5 years old), and myself at a buddies furnace shop. It was one of the coolest things I can remember. Please don't think I am feeding my boy cullet for breakfast. He has to do chores before he gets to "help" Dad after school.

Oh, go ahead and hack me for not having my shades. I had lent them to a collector and I only did a double gather. I know, safety first.

You caught the shades already, but you might want to discuss the kiddo's footwear in the hot shop too. Sandals are a no no.

Yeah, It was a spur of the moment thing after a long day of demo's. To be honest, I didn't notice the sandals until we were almost done. We both got time to get better together. One of my best moments.
