i have been looking everywhere local and on the net and cant find what i need. i need some of those wood cases that vendors have at there booths. the ones that have the glass top and then they have the wood dowl* to hold the lid up half way. they are like 3 or so inches deep. im not sure what they are actually called. shadow boxes? display cases? i just cant find anyone w/ the ones im looking for. some help would be much appreciated. thanks.

yeah i have a good friend that is a wood worker but its hard to get him motivated and for him to find time. i have seen them at basically every event i have been to. they look fairly cheap to buy, i just need to find out where.

the ones i see are like 16in by 16 in. give or take and like 3 or 4 inches deep. those are cheap though.

almost all the way at the bottom. They might not be as deep as you want. I got the walnut, they are decent quality and the wood looks good for a semi-cheap box. The place rips you on shipping tho...
