Looks good Eric, the bear looks like it's standing in water, clever effect.

Only suggestion I'd make is to put a divider, dingbat or something between each item listed in the shop. Reason being, I got halfway down the list and had to think if the description related to the image above or below and it was a distraction from your good work.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. If I could get ahold of my website designer I could fix that prob. They're never around when you needem'.

Thanks for checking it out.

Eric mate it would pay you to learn how to do small modifications, especially if you're planning on adding more stuff later on.

I was going to ask if you created the site yourself or if you made it from templates/wodeva.

I believe there are packages you can purchase where you just enter the pictures and stories and the software places it all on the page for you. I think it was Joomla but I'm not sure, maybe someone with better knowledge could chip in.

Is that how your current setup works -you pay someone to enter it for you or you enter it into a dialogue box?

My friend built the whole site for $800 buck. I'm not sure what program he used. It's hosted at www.shopify.com they don't have monthly fees, they just take a small percentage of each sale. 3% to be exact.

I've been updating all the photos & punching in the text myself. It's pretty quick & easy to do. I can even set the limit of how many of the items are available.

I would like to learn how to add pages to the site & make the more indepth changes myself.

Damn man charge more than $20 for that awesome bear. I'd go at least $35-40.. but I might also try like $75 or something. Just had to get that in quick I'll take a look at the rest of the site and get back with more.

I think since the site was launched 3 weeks ago I have about 500 hits. I've sold about $200 dollars worth of stuff.

I need to start adding more product right away.

The water reflection playing with the clear glass is great. Good job dude. As a consumer, i like the big pictures and the big buttons, seems to make the experience of buying easier, not to mention the low prices :D that pig was really cute too.

Nice looking site. IMO you need to put dimensions in you descriptions. I cant tell if that bear is worth 20 or 200 without knowing the scale.

everyone pretty much covered what i was going to say... the bear is really nice... love the effect of it looking like it's standing in water... but, is it one inch tall or ten inches tall...???

and i would like to add, what a kool torch...
it reminds me of the one we used to cut
up cars with in the auto cycle...

I knew I was forgetting something. I uploaded the glass products on my site & forgot the dimensions. I'm going to update that right away. Thanks everyone for the constructive criticism. It helps alot.:bouncy:

My glassblowing torch is a home depot metal workers cutting torch. It's not a bad torch for the money. It's lasted 7 years & it's still going strong.

P.S. The bear is roughly 4" long x 3" high & 1 3/4" wide.

I should get a pair of calipers to get the exact dimensions.

I had the changes made to the shop section of my website. There's now a line seperating each product & the text has been re-arranged. Also I changed the amount of products per page.

It certainly is far better than my last website. How did you come across my old website Jokersdesign?
