I have one position open at my studio. This person should be passionately addicted/love to glass and our community. It would take a move to rural NE Texas(Hell in the summer, Heaven in fall, winter and spring. So rural that we have no law enforcement(safety breaks on the front porch swing is no sweat).
20 acres with hunting and fishing opprotunities. We are looking to do a co-op organic garden next year. Normal rent for a house(few apartments available) is between $350 and $500 a month(2 to 3 bedroom, land, etc.) We are 11 miles from good groceries and such.

I am not looking for an apprentice. I am looking for someone who is a "green acres" kinda person. It will be for medium to high end production work(3 holed Christmas ornaments lol) . Time is built in for personal glass pursuits. No insurance/ 401 available. An excellent, clean, well stock/equipped shop is at ur disposal. Hot and cold equipped. I enjoy collaberations and encourage a cooperative enviroment.

Note: This is on the same property as my family and where we build The Flow. Please, if u have interest, know that I will require a resume, written paragraph of your past, present and future thoughts of glass, a minimum of three references of past employers or distributors and pics or samples of your present glass work and there will be a background check if I don't personally know you.
I am willing to put a large effort to find the right person for a long term relation. My present shopmate has been with me almost 4 years.

Please make your inquiries to boxfan@theflowmagazine.com. Have all your info collected first please, as I would like to start interviewing by Oct. 15th.

Please understand that I like to do things once. Search yourself to make sure you are truly interested in this opportunity as I don't like to do things twice.

Peace and thanks to all who might be interested.

Emmett,

I would definitely have to do a background on you. I have only known you for almost 10 years. I mean, you were "the man" at the first craft market I ever worked. J/K Are u serious? You got it way good brother, but at least u and the wife come visit for a bit. We have plenty of room for guests.

Anyone who has any questions, I am glad to answer them on this post to keep it alive for thru the weekend. Anything not for public can be sent by e-mail.

Peace,

Wil
