I was trying to wait for someone to post about the new issue. I am looking for some feedback. Perspective skewed from inside the box. I have heard that the issue made it to SOFA and folks were trippin when they found out that the cover were funkctional pieces. Here's a link if you don't have a subscription:

Not trying to be self-promoting, but we have waited 5 years to be able to "properly" represent. If anyone has feedback, this would be a great place to leave it. Remember, it's only everyone's magazine if everyone participates.

Thanks for the time,

boxfan

Got mine before I left for LA last week. It was some amazing work by J.A.G. on the cover. Also Nathan's work is going in new directions I haven't seen, and its great. The whole issue was one of the best so far Wil, tutorials are more in depth, more of them, thats what I beleive more people want to see. Wish you would of used the other pic of my stoppers though, that 2x4 stud in the pic was distracting, thats not my usual display, thats the board I put them in when I glue them, should of transfered them when I took the pic, but other than that, I appreciate you using them. The art is definatly getting better, and you and Jen are stepping up on everything from content to subscriptions getting to us faster, so thanks my friend.

Slinger,

Duhhhhhhhhhhh! I didn't register that shit. WOW
Maybe they said it was going to make a splash at SOFA. There a member and will clarify if they want.

Steve,

Sorry about the 2x4. Ultimately, my bad. Thanks for the feedback. You know I have been wanting those pieces on the cover for come time now. When are you going to let us properly represent the flamethrower. We need the story. Glas they are getting to everyone timely. That was my biggest monkey. Paperwork sucks.
Thanks Steve

Will! By all means advertise, talk about the magazine, do whatever. The FLOW kicks major glass ass and this is one of the major functions of the GLDG.

Feel no shame, brother. This is to be used and abused. Especially by glass lovin folk like you...

Do you need your medicine? Is your prescription up?
Then hit the link and get your ultimate healing tincture for all glassblowing aches, maladies, crooked points, bad seals, surface cracks or devitrification. That's right folks, it cleans your torch, sweeps you floor, pulls stringers and even unloads your kiln every morning. How can you say no.

My first shameless advertising on the board in 5 years. Give me some snake oil!!

will each issue gets better and better. sofa takes place in nyc during the summer so maybe that is what you heard about. its a smaller show then the chicago show.

the article on dichrome seemed like a paid advertisement to me. i know its a fine line but that one seemed a little too much to me. know what i mean?

love the pieces on the cover. iove that they are "anonymous" i like seeing pipes in the magazine and wouldn't mind seeing more. also more stuff like the salt article.

That was my bad. My name is Chris Jetter and I own Dichrome. I sent in my press release and some other info regarding the Company and how it had come together. I kinda expected them to write an article about the Company. Instead they hacked the info together and published it. It did come off like an add but that was not my intention. Sorry... If I had realized that it was gonna be published like that it would have primarily been about the artists and techniques involved.:bangHead:

P.S. We are having a glass comp with a $1,000.00 Grand Prize!

No disrespect for the Flow Magazine... If I had known they were going to publish the info word for word I would have written an article. Instead of submitting my press release and advertising info. It wasn't clear to me that my submission was going in word for word. In hindsite which is always 20/20, I would have written it differently. I certainly appreciate the the peeps at Flow and what they do for this industry. I definitely appreciate the exposure!
