anyone have any ideas on the best way to run two torches at once with the least amount pressure change to the other torch? whats better, having the y's at the tank or in the middle of the hose?

i don't think that it matters. the only remedy i've seen is to have a second set of regulators after the Y.

Yeah, get some single stage regs... they're cheap and worthwhile to have.

have you tried turning your pressure up higher so that theres enough to run both on high?

yeah, cranked them up a quite a bit. the main problem is when we are working with striking colors, when i turn my torch on or just change the flame it reduces the shit out of my wifes flame

a good set of regulators is the best way to go..... mine where a 100 a pop but it doesnt flux a hair even raging flat out with a hand torch and the phantom.....

get a good regulator with a good output Y connects with a decent amount of pressure and then add in 25 foot of hose each and thats a little resivor of pressured gas atleast a few seconds.....
