Shweet bro. Looks like you are stepping it up a notch.

You still have some work to do on shaping and the weld, but so far so good. Try to get your fume a little more even, and polish out any stretch marks(I saw some close to the mouthpiece)

Good Job mang!!!:chilling:

yea i tried getting rid of that damn devit but i just couldn't by the time i noticed it....
as for the weld, hahaha i am happy i can't rip it apart! but yea, i reallllllllly need to touch up on my funky welded areas.. tricky stuff for me right now.
but i just sent the page to the girl it is for and she is really excited.
she said 70$ is more than reasonable (i think it is kinda steep but at the same time the thing took me way too long).
but it really does feel great to have people appreciate and want to buy your work, and that is what is making me really happy. and this girl is pretty cute too, haha.

nice progress. remember the buyers that were good to you in the beginning. when your skills get where you want them you can return the favor. benefactors are the best.

I'd say the fume work looks good, don't worry about that atall. I would try to pull your handle in one pull an get the area where you want to put 'hooks' in a lil hotter an heat a larger area so when you go 'hook' more glass will flow with the 'hook' an it will look more natural. Besides that man, keep at it, stuff looks good an your only gonna get better everyday, your on your way.

Seems like you've captured the essence of the glass in the piece.

GEEZ! your hands are huge. anyways, it looks good man. for the seals, once u attatch your pieces, let it cool and go back and just heat it up in sections. a lil at a time letting it cool in bettween each one till u make it all the way around your seal. hope it helps.

why not just put a temporary bridge on it and heat the whole weld and then blow and shape the weld. makes it easier to make a great weld/

^ i find bridging harder than just going over it again all slow, but ive only tried it a couple times

lorax, sweet piece man...youre getting great with the fuming for sure. did you make it off 50?

if you use 6.5 mil rod, it makes bridging so much easier. use the bridge. you can see the other side of the river that way.
