How long have Boro Dilly's been around?

reason I am asking is that I heard that they two guys from the HBO "real sex" show (the scientific guys who were making the toys in the show) are trying to sue anybody making/selling boro glass dillys for patent infringement. Did they invent them?

I know that after the show aired, everybody and their mother started making them.

I read somewhere that the second film ever made was essentially a porno. With that in mind I would say that someone probably started making dildos with glass in Venice or Egypt hundreds or even thousands of years ago. When was the first borosilcate dildo made? Probably not long after it was invented...

I know a soft glass blower that made some in the 80s for some porn flics.
We made our first ones in 98, prior to that, the only thing I had made simalar were a few "keigel(sp?) sticks" (which are diffent but kind of similar)

Not sur ehow long they've been around.... I think I first head of one at least 15 years ago.... I make them every once in a while now too :-) they're fun, and the reaction you get out of the ladies is awesome!!!
