Is there anyone living in the midwest or willing to travel here to teach at a workshop in the midwest/Chicago area. Seems like everything is going on at the coasts, but I'm sure there are plenty of people around here interested in learning some new techs

Once I get my studio situation settled, I plan on teaching weekly, weekends, and hopefully in the future weeklong workshops. I'll let you all know when I start.

Thanks Misha, Those michigan folks can be such jokesters. I should know being one of 'em. I especially like how Dan admits his work sucks but he can make you good. :lol

What do you mean "jokesters"? Like the hand is all fun and games now? I ee how the shit rolls downhill in your precious Detroit, but please leave us out of your ghetto games.

Lansing reprazent! Down wit the dirty D...

And PuffDanny really does suck but he can make your work seem better by comparison, which is totally sweet in and of itself. Vandenberg's crap will just make you want to move to
India to master the finest import quality works.

Depends on what you want to learn, if it's refinement all around, or tricky reversal techniques, on the torch or the furnace I can help you out, i'm not too good with flat out beginners. I live in Lisle,IL, hit me up if you got questions (ubex_glass@hotmail.com). If you want to learn how to go about furnace work and never have, call my friend Matt at Prodigy Glassworks, his shop is in Brookfield,IL i work on a torch out his shop too. 630-669-4452 is his buisness phone.

Wassup, wassup Mr. Ubatuba. My aunt and uncle salvaged the oyster shell and pearl. It was one of only a few art pieces to survive the sludge. Everything else goes with the demolition of their house. Oh well. Talk to you soon.

Word Andy! Hell yeah, it's unbeliveable that piece survived Katrina, gorgeous even. I was wondering what the fate of that piece was yesterday as a matter of fact. Wow, I hope all is well down there in Nawleans, post a pic of the piece, i'm still shocked. Lemme know when your coming up North.
