That is a very cool link. Thanks.....I especially enjoyed watching the video of the guy sitting on a stool with two strips of wood tied to his legs to form a bench that he used to roll his blowpipe on. Now that is the mother of invention there.

I've seen this show at Corning... David Whitehouse did a pretty detailed lecture and discussion several times on this topic throughout the last ten years. Glad to see that they're using modern artists to recreate the objects as well.
This one lecture I attended, Bill Gudenrath did a whole series of technichal breakdowns (via video) on early techniques that must have been employed for them to create specific glass pieces. That show and lecture just keeps getting a larger conversation going every time it resurfaces.

WOW! I am impressed. It looks like the show is moving to Corning in Jan. I would love to see it but don't think that will happen. Has anybody seen the catalog?
