Boo-Hoo,
11 and snowing here in central NY. Time to crank up the heat. At least the new Mirage is helping to warm things up.

We set record snow in December almost 30 inches, that in 3 weeks with a couple of sleet and an ice storm to boot. I'm leaving for sw florida next week, 40's is tolerable considering below zero.

15 degrees here, but i work in the basement so with the delta i feel like im in cancun!
Its been hitting well below zero (like -30 in Gunnison) all over Colorado today. Actual temps, not windchill BS. Its not that bad in Boulder though.

10 degrees here. The torch keeps me nice and warm, and I like the cold anyways, but it is kind of weird when all of a sudden you're nose starts running, and you realize that as soon as you turn your head away from the torch, you can see your breath.

Ugh, I use a space heater in my shop and have to walk behind it on the way to the kiln. As soon as I pass it it's like having a ghost pass through you.
12 F here plus wind

It's in the 40's & 50's,30's at night here in N. cali, but it's really damp & rainy so the shop feels like 30 & the ventilation sucks out any heat & pulls in more cold air,so after a couple hours working today I couldn't feel my toes & felt kinda sickly. I guess it's all relative to where you live,if you're used to the warm subtropical weather of florida 40 is COLD & probally feels colder than it actually is,if you live somewhere that's really cold 40 sounds like a beatiful spring day. Good thing about california, when the sun comes out during the winter it's usually a warm or at least not too cold nice day comparable to April or even May in a cold place. Wen't for a hike on sunday & it was absolutely beautiful, now the forecast for the rest the week is chilly & rainy.:depressed
I try to wait untill it is above freezing to fire up my heaters and kiln and try to work, but been having trouble getting up to 0 lately here...
average temp of 0 here in iowa for the last 2 weeks with nasty wind chills. that fucking wind it makes the cold hurt, hard to keep warn in the shop.

sheesh! I won't be visiting any of you guys soon. Its been 70's everyday for a while. We had a brief dip in the 50's but only for about 12 hours.
I have always wanted to move to the Northwest but I am guessin I wouldn't make it the first day below 30.
