this is something to organize right after agi for the midwesterners on their way west. I'd be up for that, but not driving that far since I was close to you coming home, how about next year planning it, and I'd for sure detour to hang with you cool mutha's from the big Mich.

Picking up the disk tomorrow, and I'll frisbee it out to ya Hass.

Steve :)

The rules for the EGS flame off were...
1. soft or hard glass can be used
2.Must complete within time frame (that messed me up on the sculpture/goblet competition)
The time limits were....
Sculpture and goblet- 150min
Team sculpture and goblet - 90min
Lathe- 150min
wearables- 90min
marble and paperweight- 90min
3. Premade Murrinis or Millis made by contestant allowed
4. Premade tubing and cane stock is allowed (no lip wraps, encalmo or shaped pieces)
5. Time slots will be assigned by show management on first come basis
6. Sculpture & Goblet: time can be split between component and final assembly. Such a split must be approved by show management
7. Multiple entries will be considered based on space availability
8. Contestants may use their own torch if they bring 6ft of grade T twin tube
9. Contestants must bring their own glass

:contempla Interesting that No Pipes is not in "the rules" yet Hamm was disqualified anyway....
