Jason and I have scheduled the next LGW collab class. As you may have just read, it will be on April 3,4,5 at my studio (Living Glass Works) in Eugene OR.

Cost will be 900.

Basically we will cover my methods of prepping dichroic tube and flat canes, general large scale melts, steel punties and blowpipes, use of the LGW dichroic press/bit mold, Jason's signature style of reversals and whatever else you care to ask. (within reason). Jason does a killer lecture on different reversal configurations/patterns and we both give over the shoulder coaching according to the individual needs of students. During the class we (team LGW) will complete a large scale headdie as well as smaller demos according to the interests of the students. We put the team in teamwork!

We have land available to camp, a limited amount of inside room for sleeping and an on site shower that won't run out of hot water. Quality lunches will be provided (veggie and meaty). Hotels, grocery and entertainment are available nearby. If you plan ahead (and bring your bike) Jason and I might show you some epic Oregon singletrack...

Come ready to work, you'll have tons of first quality material, tools, and worktime. There is no substitute for learning through experience. If you've been wanting to go bigger and cleaner this will definitely get you started out right.

I don't do paypal but if you call us at 877 293 2920 we can process a CC over the phone.

This class will definitely open your eyes to a whole new world. As far as actually doing the demo's on the scale that we will be demonstrating, your torch has more to do with it than your experience. A cc, Mirage, or major would be ideal. The smaller torches require that you scale the technique down a bit. No matter what you bring though, you can count on going home with a firm foundation in heat base and process design, as well as reverse ball assembly and how to make clean patterns.

Realistically speaking, the sooner you see the techs for working clean and fast the sooner you will be able to do it yourself. I'd highly reccomend this class for you. Maybe not for someone with no experience but you have six months. Bring your recent works so we can see where you need help...

Sounds like you are in great shape to take the class. Bring your carlisle, I'll show you how to get some serious heat out of it...

We definitely will not be changing the dates we have already set but if there are enough students we will consider another session which could fall on spring break. A minimum of 5-6 people on a waiting list is what it will take to fill a second session.

BTW, If you call and register with a friend I will give 100.00 off of one registration. It also helps with knowledge retention to come with a buddy who will see and remember things a little diifferently.

We have maybe two spots left right now. 300 deposit secures you a seat. We are open to the idea of putting together another session in April but won't consider it until this class is full up.

Thanks!

Marcel

As of today, the class on April 3,4,5, is full up.

A few people mentioned that those dates didn't work because of spring break and a few people didn't have money for deposit so we are going to try and add another session a little later in April.

I will start a new thread here in the events forum when we set the new dates.

Thanks to everyone for helping to make the classes at LGW successful.

Marcel
