hey all im off for a euro trip 08! vancouver - londaon jan 30th london to vancouver march 20th!!

any european glass fanatics on here? worth a shot. going to try and hit up england paris luxemburg belgem to holland hamburg denmark to oslo and sweeden. hope to find some glass!

I've never been there, but I hear the Victoria and Albert Museum in London has a great glass collection.

haha. I've been to all of those places but cannot recommend much as I was 10-14 years old when I lived there.

London- It's not glass, but make it a point to go to Hamleys: http://www.hamleys.co.uk/
It used to boast being the biggest toy store in the world. Dunno if they still do but it is totaly worth going to. If you take the tube (you have to do that and check out the musicians and crazies) it's between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. If you enjoy national monuments, caves, or TONS of catherdrals you'll enjoy the UK. And get some authentic fish and chips. The kind they hand you in a soggy newspaper. So good.

From there you could pop over to Paris and still make it back to London all in one day. Hop on a ferry and hit gay peris for a couple hours. Every good thing you've ever heard about french bread is true. I'm drooling just thinking about it... The adult entertainment is probably worth staying for, but I couldn't tell ya about that....

Ugh. Im going to stop this cold medicine rant at Luxemburg... Hope some of that helped.

if your in europe for that long with would be worth your while to stop in venice and buy some carlo donna tools. killer deals over there
