I talked to my friend in Cali Mike Shelbo about the glow stuff and he told me that its been around for a little while in quite a few different colors, he said that the green glow stuff they were passing out is the cheapest and that it is in fact the same glow powder that can be used in soft glass (I saw that stuff a few years ago)...might be why it was so testy and why Jesse said that he had tried to batch it at NS and it never worked....I'm guessing its not completely compatible but is just enough that it can be used (like acrylic paint and different crystals and other stuff that isn't actually glass but can be semi-compatible)

We received some of this powder a couple of weeks before AGI so that we could work with it, test it, etc...
It has been avialable to the big production shops in the past but this is the first time it has been available to the general public.
So far, we've tested it for:
-Surface application - smooth application, takes 3-4 good coats to get a good glow out of it.
-Inside-Out - best use so far, 2-3 coats will give an incredible glow.
-Deep encasements - marbles, beads, 3-5 good coats before encaseing gives great results.
-Stringers - use a 1/2" rod, heat it just enough to pick up the powder, repeat about 30 times until you get a gather about 1" in diameter, coat with clear or a light to medium density transparent color and pull down to size.
The Kryptonite Glow Powder is now available at Generations Glass.
So is this the same stuff Crush was using 3 years ago? That stuff worked great for basic I/O.
