Thanks to a great response to our April 3, 4, 5 class Jason and I have scheduled the next LGW collab class. As you may have just read, it will be on April 14, 15, 16 at my studio (Living Glass Works) in Eugene OR.
Cost will be 900. A deposit of 300.00 is required to secure your spot in the class. If you enroll with a friend we will give 100.00 off of one registration.
Basically we will cover my methods of prepping dichroic tube and flat canes, general large scale melts, steel punties and blowpipes, use of the LGW dichroic press/bit mold, Jason's signature style of reversals and whatever else you care to ask. (within reason). Jason does a killer lecture on different reversal configurations/patterns and we both give over the shoulder coaching according to the individual needs of students. During the class we (team LGW) will complete a large scale headdie as well as smaller demos according to the interests of the students. We put the team in teamwork!
We have land available to camp, a limited amount of inside room for sleeping and an on site shower that won't run out of hot water. Quality lunches will be provided (veggie and meaty). Hotels, grocery and entertainment are available nearby. If you plan ahead (and bring your bike) Jason and I might show you some epic Oregon singletrack...
Come ready to work, you'll have tons of first quality material, tools, and worktime. There is no substitute for learning through experience. If you've been wanting to go bigger and cleaner this will definitely get you started out right.
