I recently started making birds. Here are two that I made yesterday, both made of Effetre glass over a GTT Phantom.

Silly Stork:

Good job Wes... keep em coming.

Are we gonna see you at the flame conference? It would be good to see you again.

To anyone who hasn't met Wes, he's possibly the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. Oh, and Mario is working out and skating with the team again. Go Penns! I doubt he's coming out of retirement, but it's fun to watch him out there with the guys.

Hey All,

Thanks for the compliments! Unfortunately, I won't be making it to the IFC this year - a bit too far now that I'm in Montana...

As for scale, the blackbird is 3.5" from beak-tip to tail-tip and the silly stork is 3.5" tall.

There's no punty when I'm doing the feet! I pop them in the kiln hot with no feet, then add feet after they're annealed, so I can the piece by the body or whatever. Same with my bugs, too...
