To all of you who put up posts and start threads:
Thanks!
To all of you who moderate this place, help with maintaining, and updating:
Thanks!
I'm new on this board and I'm sure this thread exists somewhere, but if I go looking for it I'll end up lost in a million other topics until my eyes get heavy. So thank you to everyone who participates in this forum. I have learned so much from you guys, it gets me exictied to be blowing glass. We all get in a rut from time to time and I'm grateful to all of you who are willing to share the techniques that make this art what it is. I am truly grateful!

I feel exactly the same way. I am new to all this also, I've been blowing glass in my own little hole for about 5 years and I've learned many techs and many different ways of doing the same techs since I joined this site.
I am excited to be blowing glass again, and am changing things on a daily basis that are increasing my production and my interest in glass all together!
This place has reminded me that there's no right way to do a tech, just what works for you in this moment. Which has greatly increased my versatlity in the functionality of my bench!
I would like to say thanks to everybody also and thanks to Lurch for this thread!
I no longer feel like a manufacturer lost in a dungion somewhere.LOL:imlost:

I always envision misha like a little tattooed elf on acid. Modding with one hand, playing WoW with the other, Spinning a rod in the torch with her right foot and beating her kids with the left. At least that leaves the good parts for the hubby. :D

If you modify that "beating" part to "hugging" you'd be just about right on.
