Talked to him while in philly. He's got something like 120 hours to edit and to make the quality film I expect he'll make, he's not just gonna push it through just to "get it done". He said most likely end of the year to beginning of 09'.
Sound like it'll be great with many perspectives on the issues he's covering. Can't wait.

yea im in the process of making a very ambitous and comprehensive documentation of the culture. 2006 i was on the road for 6 months straight shooting,,, and i shot more summer of 2007,,,, as of now id say the piece is 90% shot... i have 175 hours of footage, of which i have logged and pulled shots out of 83 hours so far,,,,

it is very possible that i will have a product ready for release by the end of the year, im finalizing plans to have an old film school friend who is an EMMY award winning filmmaker and has been making documentaries for the last ten years to do all the final editing with me at the production house he works at....

i could have just chose a top ten list and made something easily in one year for 19.95$ but im trying to go above and beyond that, and make a real classic document that really speaks for our culture.....

but never fear, if im not blowing glass to pay my bills im pretty much editing or shooting my film....and so far... IM VERY EXCITED.... i have amazing interviews and SICK footage of people making insane headpieces.....

Hell yea, not that I was trying to rush or anything, but just wanted to find out whats up. Good to hear that it will be done soon.

How long do you plan on making the final film? I wouldnt mind a 2 dvd set or something just so that there is the most possible footage in the film.
