I see a ton of cool classes going on, but a lot of them seem intimidating to me. Kind of over my head. I would like to refresh the basics and get some help with using the correct flame, working iso, connections, the whole lot I guess. I can fumble threw most of it but I want it clean. I think i need some guidance. I would like it if I could progress and return for the next level and so on. I also want to get some mandrel help. I have just started mandrel beads and i love it. Anyways I am up and running again after like 7 - 8 years and having a blast. let me know about classes you have taken or cool ideas you would like in a class. Maybe I will meet someone at AGI if I make it there. I live in San Diego but I could travel anyhwere really. Me and my lady own a dog grooming business and we are about to hire a helper so i will be able to take off a lot of time to focus on glass. life is good:chilling:

Find an artist you like, and ask him/her if they teach private classes. A lot of artists do, and you can learn all you want too, at your own pace, and make a good contact possibly friend.

agreed. Apprentice if you can. I hated the idea of it in the beginning but having a pro around you every time you torch is absolutely huge! Then you don't have to wait tell you can afford another class to ask the questions you have. 24/7 support is priceless.

I do classes but I'm up in Portland. If your in Cali I think Revere has beginner classes.
