So I just wanted to take a moment to all who have seen some crazy ass thread about jj, the illision crew an me. I am choosing not to get into details, there is just lots of them an alot of he said she said stuff. Here is my opioion:

The illision crew:

The are a good group of guys who are into promoting the glass scene, sharing knowledge an stand up to there word. I have been selling them glass for a minute know an they hav always been very respectful an honest with me an always promte with the payment, always!. Never support import glass. They knwo they got a great deal on the lathe. The never had any ideas run through there mind about ripping anyone off. Some have told me that kip came off strong in his post but give him a chance. He bought a lathe for 3 grand ( we all agree a steal) but when it arrived on a pallet that was beat all to hell an leaning over to one side, he thought that his 3000 might be out the window for pour pallet making. He was upset with that, as we all would be. I strongly recommend that you talk to these guys in person about this dealing if you run into them as the wish to attend agi, the pipe classic an other glass events. I think you'll see that kip actually is a nice guy an one anyone would like to have as a shopmate....he's got your back, stand up guy an that goes for mark too.

JJ: Would have gotten 5000 for the lathe if learned how to deal with folks an not act prematurly with people in the biz world. Cause I know kip an mark, jj made threats to me an my personal situation ( don't want to dicuss on public forum) to try an strong arm kip an mark to shutting up or he would make certain people aware of my personal situation...basically blackmail. I don't believe all jj does all evil but is not of a honorable person due to threats. Hew also gets his panties in a whirl about every three months on these boards so I recommmend listening to the other guys story next time, cause there will be a next time.

For all that have stood up for jj I would like to ask have any of you actually met JJ in person? Some of you have met me in person an know my character beyond a keyboard. I believe you all would give me positve feed back. If any of you guys get to met JJ in person I bet your first words out of your mouth when you walk away will be something like " oh my god" or "okay buddy, whatever you say.' If not then i owe you a beer!

I am very busy right now so the internet has taken a back seat for me, so don't look for many responses from me, I have made my statment an stand by it 200%

JJ has a great business reputation...JJ wouldnt leave something as unprofessional as that to be the first thing the customer sees. And OSB board? The only thing OSB is good for is clubhouse walls and window covers when there is a hurricane.

I can show the recipts for the Wood. The nails and the stprats If some one realy needed to go to all ends of the earth to beleive whats right in front of there eyes. But I ain't going to do any one any good. If they are going to close there eyes and refuse to see what the deal is.
The on;ly thing I don't have a recipt for is the extra screws I used to make extra sure the 2x6 stringers where not going to come off at all. The resone I have no recipt for them is because I used some I had in my box for my cordless screw driver and Brian had some 4 inch dry wall screws. I figured more can;t hurt sence I was dealing with freaks and they wanted every thing done this way and that. And being that they were like no $ intill intill the very end IF they feel like paying or if they can't find a way to get it on the truck first.
Even then when the check did come there was no fund in there acocunt to cover the chec when time came to cash it. Tho they fliped out on me for even having the nerve to call and see if funds were avalable. But they pst dated the check and I still keep waiting to that day to cach it and din't want him to have a bounce fee if funds were just not posted to his account yet. even the morning the check as due to cahs the funds were not there till the end of the day,
Then for som reason to do with HIS check and the ccount I had to wait 5-10 days for it to clear. Tho it did clear in the shorter amount of time 5 days. and its was supposed to take 3-5 days for the lathe top get to its new home. I would be crasy to Send that lathe to these guys with out knoing it was secure and going to make it. and with no money in my hand yet still.
normaly You have to wait till the check clears the bank THEN You get your item shipped. So I had every right to least have a bit of caution. Esp considering they refused to allow an indpendant 3'rd party escrow the funds. Not even an offical shipping escro agant. Even when I said I would pay the fees IF needed.

But that must of been no good sence the plan was to not pay me or to pay me as little as possable.

Funny to how once you got the lathe and had no use for brian how you riped him off of the $800 I took off that you were supposed to give him. And all I can say Is I can hear my dads saying thats what happens when crooks make deals together.

NOw you have this NEW guy that happened to call you out of the blue when his lathe being palleted wrong bat sences went off. and He called you and warned you and you stil paid me and had the shippers come. ANd this guy moves lathes all the time Yet you jerled me around to go threw a hassel and have to bring other pppe up and pay to get it moved and on a pallet. When this guy could of just wiggled his nose and made it happen.

Not every body that blows glass is involved in some sort of crimal endeaver. and if they were I'm sure they would want to wonder at least how brian got probation for some thing some one else usealy goes to jail for a long time for.

and again if some one don;t want to rob me or rip me off because they are afraid I will do what any one would do if I had to and call the cops. Ok what does that say about me except I would do the same as any other normal person would do if they got there stuff robbed or someones threationed there property. I don't know if you are trying to be funny, stir up more trouble, or what.....BUT, just so anyone who reads this knows...his pedals are killer, including the "three-stage" ones. One of my best friends has a Delta Mag (that's a "3 stage" torch) and bought his pedal from JJ a couple years ago. He uses it every day, loves it and has never had a single problem. He's mentioned several times about how he is so happy he decided to buy the pedal that he bought.

As far as the pedals for those of us that don't have giant torches, they are great, too. I speak from experience.

I can't say for sure, but I get the feeling that smut was right that you wanted to rip him off and are now pissed that you had to pay for the lathe you bought.

If theres any issues, take them up with your shippers. You used the wrong company to ship, and it pisses you off, but ultimately its your fault not his. JJ's pallet looks legit to me, the people moving it not so much.

Wipe the sand out of your vag and start making some tubes on your new lathe.

Reposting this thread next week isn't going to magically get you sympathy that you missed out on this week. ITS YOUR BAD.

Really, the ultimate question of all this for me is: if the lathe, despite being mishandled by YOUR shipping company, works fine then what is the issue? You paid for a lathe, and a lathe is what you got.
