Very cool. I'd call it "funkadellic"! Quite a nice lookin' piece. That's where I lack talent - the creativity side. If I were to try and think up something like that I'd probably have a meltdown. What colors did you use? Looks like gold/silver fume and maybe some sort of blue?

Ya that is still a good lookin piece, how long did it take ya?

I'm glad to see you posting some pics. I saw that spoon down at organic the other day, I like it.You did a good job on it,keep pushing yourself.

^ thanks man...im gonna try and make something nice regularly now to get some practice on sections and stuff. anyone got any tips on welds? the fume was right to the edge of those sections, but for some reason i got those clear gaps in between....

I 2nd DB - that opal in the window is really kinda cool. Nice stuff. The 3rd pic - the fumed dot implosion. How much fume did you use - in terms of what it looked like on the glass before you dotted it. I did one similar the other day and it turned out a little heavy and because my implosion skills suck thus far it didn't look too good.

Thanks for sharing!

thanks, glasspipe. the implosion is done with either GA triple passion or momka silver beach...not sure which

it can be tricky to trap the right amount of fume on those for sure...i usually end up with too much also. try fuming silver then putting cobalt or black dots for some cool effects

when you pop your hole out your getting a collar of clear around them, when attatching them together the clear ring is the result.Try blowing them out a little thinner and use your reamer to open the hole until the fume or colour is right to the edge of the hole.it's a fine line, open to much and your colour will wrap around to the outside,to little and you get the gap.

Try this (http://www.ecu.edu/glassblowing/gb.htm), should cover the basic theory anyway.
