haven't posted any pics in a bit, so I thought I'd put these up. They are mini stemlesses using a disc percolator off to the side. They perc great with no water in the mouth.

nice work. I have a few questions. have you put water in them and tried them? does water get in your mouth? how much water can you fit in? I'm really getting into the stemless design, not like yours.I'll post mine soon. I really like the concept of no stem and natural perk thru the water.

I can answer that, no water doesnt go in your mouth. Anytime you have a disc or donut or something odd shape it keeps the water from going up. And if done right they take a very very minimal amount of water.

I think the more water the better. what kinda filtration do you get from a teaspoon af water? and as far as just putting a donut on the piece, thats a bunch of bullshit. I have two donuts on the last stemless i made and if you put the amount of water that should go in the "disc" a lil still gets in the mouth. so....and also this stemless stands like 18 inches tall.

and what is the point of using water if therer isnt even enough to make a difference? if there isnt enough water for the air to be forced "through". it just kinda rides over the top of the water and never really gets filtered.
marinate on that for a minute.

then get back to me.

i like your designs tea.and the colors are nice. i made my first stemless last week. am real happy with it. im kinda with shttrd on the water deal. and i have a big disc after my water and you can deffinately get water in your mouth. there seems to be a right ratio to get a good bubbling.

With the disc design, especially attached on the side like these, it shoots the water around the side of the disc, and on some of them it washes right over the hole to the stem/mouthpiece for an extra perc effect. amount of water is a touchy issue. You want to be able to fit enough in there to filter well, but not enough to suck some up. I tested all these, and have smoked on some with customers of mine, all of them work well with not much water in them. Seems like even though there is not too much water in there, it really splashes around inside of that disc, more so than a stemmed bubbler, and with less suction to get it going. AND you never have a broken stem from poking it out. I'd say I put about a tablespoon of water in there. You can get water in the mouth, but only if you really try, never on accident.

here is one more I did a bit ago, this one is long gone, sold to a friend. The 420 mille is my own and was my first multi number mille, turned out really well. This one also smoked really well.

Since when do you need a certain amount of water for filtration? Im sure you could filter smoke through a single drop of water if you had the right apparatus.

And you dont need to put enough water to fill the entire disc, just enough to submerge the first tunnel.

I agree that a stemless probably doesnt filter as good as a standard bub tho.

haha... most of the studies show that bubs filter out more good stuff than bad anyways ( less nicotine right ?) I was always under the impression that the water was just to cool the smoke down to make it less harsh. but most studies show that even vape is not as good as rolling up one in papers, most other methods just increase the amount of tar/ other ratio ;) http://www.maps.org/mmj/vaporizer.html

i dont buy the filtration thing neither. i was taught when learning bubs that the water was only to cool the smoke and if you dont start out with a big can to hold alot of water then its a waste of time to put the dropstem in it. but that doesnt translate well to the end buyer at all. and it could be bullshit but i believe in it.

The amount of water doesnt make any difference, the important part of water filtration is surface area. Thats why diffusers are hot shit right now.

So theoretically stemless should actually filter really well, since there is a huge amount of surface area to get through the water.

i like the filtration of ash, and the fact that they hit way smoother, big dry pieces hit huge and dry, i dont know, i really like the stemless concept, works well, no cloggage, and its not as "traditional" people sometimes like that sometimes dont.

whatever suits the customer.

sweet stemless teaspoon

hand down volcano vape thru a clear bub with a 9 hole perk on 12 mil downstems is the sickie. mmmmmmm
