Well some of you that know me, some of you that know of me, have all been asking whats been up. Since i still need to learn how to take good pictures of my pendants, i'll skip those. However some of you have posted and seen my rose post. Well here are updated photos of them. I've made about 18.... 4 dropped and 2 cracked/broke beyond fixing. However here are the few that turned out well.

Total prop goes to N3rd for helping me out all the time. He's always there when i need to talk, whether it's glass or personal life. Dudes the shit. Also VED, for being my noob counterpart....who seems to be doing so much better then me. :shifty:

PS...A few have asked, and those who do ask how long i've been doing this. I started in sept/oct. But to give u a look on how much time ive spent with glass...I've gone through 3 125 oxy tanks and 2 250's. I felt jipped on oxy this week going thru an oxy tank in 6 days (trying to push out roses for mothers day) :bouncy:

This one turned out nice. I did start to loose part of the vineish stem's form bcause it was so thin and in the way. Overall it sits well and turned out nice.

This one turned out nice except half the stem broke off. I ran out of oxygen and it looks a bit rough. but personally in person u cant even tell, just looks normal

I made this one when i first started, just the bloom. Added the base when i got bored...And i made a few mistakes but it looks decent.

Hey Storm

Couple of weeks ago I mentioned about putting an LED bulb at the end of a clear rod and welding attachments on that, like a marble/wodeva.

I looked at the clear rose you did and thought fuck, that would be the perfect application for it.

I've been looking for suitable LED's locally but can't find anything suitable, they are already fitted into brake-or sidelight enclosures, not seperate.

What I'd do is fit the LED into a sleeve and the other end of the sleeve slides over the clear rod, see.

That fitted into a sturdy base/wall fitting with a jack socket for a 12volt DC power block supply.

Any ideas on top of that, I'd appreciate, especially where I can source 6mm clear LED's.

It's more along the lines of how temperate the glass is...Cracking happens waaayy y too easily.

I worked one winter in Duluth in a garage with no insulation, a propane "Mr. Heater", and a pair of heavy, insulated Carhart bibs and I never had cracking issues. I would rarely work if it was below zero though.

I'm digging the snowman and cactus stoppers.

I made a small snowman before with spindly little arms that almost immeadiatly broke off. Maybe little metal arms would work better?

Keep it up!

Cool stuff. I like the roses and pendants. I've tried a couple roses but yours are much nicer than what I ended up with.

I've been making a lot of pendants, so I thought.... You're got a lot of pendants there!

Here are a few Glow in the dark pendants i made for this last show. It's the glass powder from glowglass.com But they turned out kinda of cool. Sorry for the bad glow pictures but i didn't have time to get good ones in the dark. 3 of them are actually dichro vortex's but it's hard to see in the picture.
