Smith little Torch.

Hoke and Prestolite also make versions.

The 1-5 tips are pretty much worthless for glass, but a #6-#7 is perfect.

You'll need a set of regulator for them as they run at like 5 psi oxygen and .2 psi gas.

Rio Grande is the cheapest place I've found them, about $90 for the set w/ 7 tips and a stand. Santa Fe Jewelers is a good price.

It doesn't matter where in the US you order it from, it's still going to be held at least a day or 2 by customs unless there's by some miracle no back log on packages...

If you could find someone in Canada or Europe who bought them before the dollar crashed you might get an even better deal.

...Also consider the single tip GTT they're making... a bit more spendy, but much more torch for the money really.

i have one of each, the smith, the gentec and the hoke.

I prefer the gentec, there is not much difference between it and the smith except the gentecs tips are all useable for boro. its also a bit cheaper.

Got mine from Ebay, like 115 shipped or something. Its defenitely the shit.

You dont necessarily need seperate regs, I got it hooked with the phantom at 40psi ox and 9psi gas and it works well, just have to get used to it.
