Organic G- Not any more. Last time I spoke with simax they were quoteing $1500 for the torch and $350 for the pedal ( offered the combo for little less than $1800) The H1 also has doubled in price.
When those torches first came out you could pick them up cheap, unfortuneatly that was b4 they swithched to the euro and way b4 the dollar wasnt worth shit.
The torch doesnt require a pedal ( but most find it to be a major asset) Iit does take some time to learn to get the midrange flames So most people just use the centerfire and have the outerfire set to BIG.
( which haveing the pedal actualy inhibits as you tend to touch the valves less when you have a pedal)
These torches are far better than most give them credit for. For goblet cup makeing they are my favorate. ( and I use a delta for most everything)
Also dicro can be worked metal side in the flame with no burn out.
There is a big learning curve, but once you have it down... its a hell of the torch for the $

They used to be about $900ish But they come from eastern Europe and the dollar is much weaker then just 2-3 years ago and it takes a lot more dollars to buy it from its source now. Even tho the original price in euros is probably the same as it has been.

I spoke to my friend who owns the torch, and he told me to drop the price on it.
It’s now up for grabs for $850.00 + S&H*, and the foot pedal is still included.
Please e-mail me at info@glass123.com, or give me a call at (724) 791-2100 if you want it.
Tom
* S&H is estimated at $40.00, that is subject to change depending on where it is being shipped, and if you want insurance on the package. You will only be charged what the post office charges us.

Okay- I’m sick of having this thing taking up space in my studio. $550.00 (free shipping in the lower 48 states) takes the torch… or $500.00 if you want to pick it up at my place in western Pennsylvania.
*Add $200.00 if you want the foot pedal to go with it.
Give me a call at (724) 791-2100 if you want it.

i heard that there is not as much flame variation its either small or huge, is this true? how is it on oxy? im really interested.. (tom im gonna call u in the morning)
i had a buddy that ran one for a while and never had a problem with the flame size, they arnt that hot so concentration what little heat they kick out isnt that hard. he was busting out iso spoons on 44 heavy in 15-18 mins on it. i think its just a matter of learning to control the outer flame

Well, CripSkillz is the proud owner of a new Maya torch, and the foot pedal is still up for grabs... Asking $200.00 (free shipping) if you’re interested.
BTW- this is a mechanical pedal (no electric needed), and has (3) ports: Propane, Oxygen, and Air (or nitrogen).
Tom

You beat me to it.
Shakes Fists.
Just curious..
If Crip just bought the torch is there a reason it's now listed up on eBay? Or is this maybe just someone grabbing your pictures?

Someone definitely stealing pics. Crazy! Do you think they lifted them here or did they just pull them off a image search?
Someone should report it before someone gets ripped off.

definitely the same pix...
that, in and of itself, doesn't automatically mean that the ebay add
is a ripoff but, it surely leads to a whole bunch of questions...

I emailed the seller and reported it to ebay. If he's honest then he will be exonerated if guilty he will be hung. Seriously he did steal the pics and has zero ebay transactions. I just hate to see anyone get ripped off.
...did he change the pics? what im seeing doesnt look like toms torch, the ebay torch has cut off hoses on the pedal and the torch barbs and a big decal on it.
congrats crip, that thing is a like light saber, huge ol flame.
The pictures were changed : )

hold up.....this is my maya..........my wife listed this torch...... when i got this torch ..... off Chris from AGI.....I downloaded the photos of the Maya the was on here so I could see the kind of torch it was....... when my wife listed the torch , she used the MAYA photos on my desktop ..... this is a honest auction and the new photos are up..... it was a TOTAL mistake..... not trying to burn ANYBODY.... and I am sorry for listing the wrong photos.,
Hey crip I hear those maya's are great for cads and dicro! I would love to try one of these bad boys out I like a big flame. I hear these run a bit cooler but for some things thats a plus. You are becoming quite the torch man I have had 6 and have downsized for winter to 3. I need a big flame for my line up too! If you don't sell the knight you will have all the mid flames there.

I'd go a little lighter on the center fire in the second pic. Definitely never run ur outer fire without compressed air. I even bypassed the air from the pedal and run my center with the compressed air cracked open. Just my opinion from my experience. Have fun and don't burn yourself.

ya my air is straight from compressor so its always on.. no worries there i can see how good it runs with air.. its nice..
second pic is my midrange same flame as top but hardly any outer so it looks funny..
