I've been blowing glass for 1 year, 1 month now and am self taught. I just finished making this last night for my grandmother's birthday and would appreciate some feedback.

that is a hell of a lot better than my first try! get yourself one of those wooden poseable figures from the art store, the kind for figure drawing. It helped me with proportion and scale as well as how to put it together.

I like the movement in the pose and the creative stand! keep it up!

lookin good! Try some drawing human form books, anatomy books (that really show the muscle structure), and really any books with figures (I mainly use Olivia books as references http://www.eolivia.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=187)
I usually sketch my figures first from a couple different angles (another reason the wooden posable figures are a great idea) Sketching them helps you get a better feel for the proportions before you put it into the glass
