Dunno man I have been waiting 2 maybe 3 months for my aim kiln...not from grady though.

I think thats just how it goes unless you manage to find 1 in stock.

it took me about 3.5-4 months to get my 4 kilns from Aim. They were mostly worth the wait - one of them needs a little tweaking, but over all I'm satisfied.

I agree they could be a little quicker, but I'd rather they not sacrifice quality for speed if that were to be the case.

I feel sorry for you deftones, did you at least get your money back from grady ?

I too was going to get an aim and decided to get the f-130 instead, I am so glad I did, it is a beautiful kiln, the workmanship is top notch and I love the personal touch that you can call the company and talk with people who could answer all my questions and let me know what stage my kiln was at while being built. Paragon went above and beyond with customer service.

I also like that my Paragon was built by an individual or two, rather than an assembly line. When I got the kiln there was a signed certificate by the two guys who built it, again its that personal touch that makes me feel good.

Maybe aim is the same way, where its built by an individual and you get a certificate and all, I can't say as I never owned an aim, so I am not saying aim is built on an assembly line or anything negative about this, just saying this was a feature of Paragon that I liked.

yea I waited like a month to get my AIM. I paied up front and was a bit pissed they didn't explain that they make them when ordered. But, I did the same thing... kept calling and calling. It was always "the kiln is all set, we are just waiting for the pyrometer". It sucked to wait but it's a great kiln. Learned my lesson... ask more questions, like "is it in stock?". I guess they are just a smaller company than I had thought.

Perhaps this is kind of rude of me, but do you think that may have been a little bit of karma coming back to bite you in the ass? Just a thought.

Well,I hope you're not talking about me then Voodoo. I've never done anything negative to anyone here (except Sinbad & Nomad, who come on deserve to be ripped on for their ridiculous attitudes/personas) & I help everyone out I can. Who cares anyways,I come here to talk about glass blowing,I occasionally get bored & post something silly, but who doesn't? And it's none of my business, but if you're talking karma,it may be this deftones dude you're talking about,he's the one who talked all that shit on his boss & then got pissed off & said a bunch of stuff on here to whoever. Anyways, not trying to start more shit,we're all human,we all say stupid things once in a while.I have no problems with anyone here & if they have some with me that's on them for being too uptight or misunderstanding.Peace & Love:chilling:

No, not you. I've got no problem with you at all. It was from a prior kiln deal that became public on here due to some creative truth structuring on the part of the seller. And truthfully, after I typed in the thing about karma, I regretted posting it, as its not really my business, but I didn't think it right to edit it away.

Deftones, punctuation, spacing, and line breaks are your friend. A spell check wouldn't hurt either. I couldn't read that shit, will someone condense it into a manageable nugget for the "I don't read retard type" ones of us?

Exactly, I could only handle 2 sentences before my eyes were bugging.

Supply and demand, I love my Aim.

Trev's hooked me up with one in about a week.

I've had two aim kilns and both times I was treated very well. It took about six weeks to get my last one from ordering to delivery.
