Okay, we’re a little over 2 months away from AGI, and I’m still working on things to make it an incredible experience in every way for our guests.
-Wil Menzies (www.theflowmagazine.com) and Alan Stevens (from Gryphon Corp) will be demonstrating the proper use of a band saw and a belt sander (designed for glass, of course) and these tools will be available for everyone to use throughout the week.
-My homie from Long Island, Mike Glass, will be bringing a laser etching machine which is used for glass, and we’ll also try it out for dichro images. After he shows us how to use it the computer and etching machine can be used by everyone (how cool is that?!)
-Adam from UST glass will be here for a night and will sponsor a cookout… hopefully we can twist his arm for some of those award winning ribs!
-Along with the photography and photo editing class, everybody will be receiving a free copy of a photo program which is similar to Photoshop. You will learn everything you need to know about taking good pictures and will be provided with the software to help you out.
-Big Don expanded his blacksmithing area to 4 forges. If you want to try your hand at this, he's always there to show you the ropes.
-The Butler County Bureau of Tourism is sponsoring a pig roast for the Saturday night party which will include side dishes and desserts. Along with Eddie Pickett and the AGI band, this should be a rockin’ party.
