I'm looking for anyone that can cut/shape graphite to custom shapes. I've got some ideas worth looking into. My ideas may turn into some very useful tools for glassblowers if I can learn how to manipulate graphite or find someone who can do it.
Please post or PM info.

I have a carving of Jerry that everyone recognises as Jerry, and I can't make it work for the life of me.
I have a carving of a lion snout that I draw the mane on manually with, and it works sometimes.
I will let you know how the implosion steal your face turns out. I am still waiting for the carving to be finished.
A good graphite carver is worth his money, so don't be afraid to pay for a mold you will use for years and years. An artist is still cheaper than paying for a graphite manufacturer like Speer Canada to make it, but they can machine it into any exact shape. You can just design your mould on the computer, and they will machine it for you.
Try many carvers. Get different results. Any skilled carver can work in graphite, as it has no grain.

I just machine graphite. I'm no carver, if that's what you need.
