I was looking through the "who's online? part of the site script, and I found this:

fw3.jocogov.org

after investgation (http://.jocogov.org) I see that its the Johnston county goverment of Kansas.. (I live in Johnston county NC, wierd huh? anyway there is no reason for a goverment PC to view this site and I banned the ip address 63.150.227 or jocogov.org Any other webmasters (or mistresses) may want to do the same, and feel free to post other IP's or DNS entries to ban for example usdoj.gov or 149.101.1 to keep the pesky department of justice away from your site, ect...

I could just be some one surfing on the work computer. But even that they are waisting tax dollars if they are just surfing the web for personal enertainment.

When meghan worked at the NY state attorney general (ya picture my dreadlocked hippy honey working at the highest leval of state goverment.) I was getting a lot of hits from ip address that all went back to the state of ny. turned out her boss found my porn site and was abel to download porn with out the states internal filters catching it cause it was on an ip rather then a http address. funny thing is he would only download files with the word teen or young in the file name lol lol.

Got to agree with SMUTBOY.... Just some joker cruising on his/her gov. computer wasting TP dollars...

If they were going to search your site for any devious reasons, they ain't so stupid as to use a traceable IP address.... Gov. people know how to use anonymizers too.

LOL thats pretty funny... and you guys are probly right, well are most definatly right, but I just see it as a neccicary evil... Hnestly, I have no reason to block anyone, Im all for free speech, but at the same time, i want anyone who visits my site to feel safe in saying what they wish , with no recourse or repremand...

you could always have some fun with it. go ahead and give the county govt in kansas a call and get a hold of their network administrator and let them know. or just send a letter to their local paper and make sure that their citizens know how their tax dollars are being squandered

johnson county(and it IS johnson, not johnston) is kansas city area (even tho most of K.C. is in missouri) .....just in case anyone cares.
kinda worried me for a sec....gov looking at pipe sites in my home state......they better stay the fuck away from the shops here. there's only like 4 anyway.
