View Full Version : stacking r ball help please.......
i have been doning more tube pulls and working with sections and i am having a lot of fun doing so. i am really happy with my wig wags and spirals but when i put my r balls together (im matiching colors together) i am getting small clear areas between the sections. i am trying to make my holes that i weld together the same size and even but cant seem to get a consistant result. so how do i make it look like a nice clean flowing peice that doesnt look like two peices put together?
thanks

so each section actually has 2 sides to it, the color & the clear encasement....try to tag the color sides of the pieces together first, color to color, then bend slightly to tag the clear sides of the pieces together.
how would i accomplish this? by flaring my hole? a little more detail would really help

I just always used small holes and didn't flare them. A little ream after popping the hole and then attach, don't let the seam gather more than the two pieces, puff, heat up the whole of the two sections evenly and then puff. I would have a small seam on occassion but rarely.

Defenitely pop a small hole and ream it out a bit so it kinda flares. That will expose more color, then do what gypsea said.
