i wast a friends house last night and they had one of the new skunk magazines and inside was a article about revere glass. i guess i can see both sides of the spectrum, it would be an honor and great for advertising. i think its a european mag but not to sure. anyhow i just wanted to see what people thought being that as of lately there is more and more glass related articles in these magazines. these articles might help people buy american made glass or it might make the govt crack down again. what do you guys think. is it good or bad?

I think it's good because it reflects the mindset's and viewpoint's, as well as opinions of the people in our country, and other countries too.

Personally i think it's a good thing for the individual blower who's being covered. It's nice to be published, even if it is in a hemp themed magazine.Tells you all your hard work is starting to pay off,and i'm sure it helps to up the value and demand for that particular artist. It would be great for the entire scene if they would focus a little more on art and sculpture though.I'm not u.s. based so i don't really have an opinion when it comes to the cops.Personnally i dont get it,pipes are for tobbacco, and they are clean unused pipes, whats illegal about them.i believe that in canada it's only classed as paraphenila if it has a drug referance or has been used for drugs,i don't know could be wrong.
Skunk magazine is based in quebec canada

i think its probably good...some of the biggest companies in the world got that way because they have the biggest advertising budget. If you inundate people with your logo/ad/product they will eventually buy it. Hell even I'm a sucker for good advertising and I'm not that materialistic. My point: even though its in a hemp mag, any reference to the glass scene is one more "ad" for glass. The more people become familiar with glass blowing/pipe making the more comfortable they'll become with it. Sure it may lead to a crack down and artists/shop owners may suffer the consequences, but long term people will just become more comfortable with the idea of glass pipes. Slowly people's minds will change. Every time they crack down, in my opinion, more and more people will see how silly that is and begin to demand a change. Especially if they've become comfortable seeing glass/pipe stuff in mags and things and the idea itself has become more common place.
Just some off the top of my head thoughts on the subject..tho I'm curious to hear what people think.
